To start our journey, we first must see within ourselves the potential of our fire and what strengths and challenges we carry with us at this moment. What drives us or limits us? What motivates us or hinders us? What is important to us or indifferent to us? To know these things is to know how and what we want to invest our energy into.
With this we are also asked to explore our own character of fire. Are we more confident or doubtful? Courageous or fearful? Determined or lazy? Assertive or passive? Outgoing or shy? Optimistic or pessimistic? Assessing these things within ourselves will help us to know where we are at with our fire and our connection to our spiritual world. There is no good or bad, or right or wrong. We are simply given a chance here to observe what aspects of ourselves will need space to learn and grown and which parts are already a strength that we can count on and utilize as we move forward.
Overall, the Page of Wands energy is asking us to cultivate energies of joy, excitement, enthusiasm and optimism as we prepare for the journey ahead. We are encouraged through this energy to explore and expand who we are through play and wonder at this stage, reminding ourselves that no matter how old we might be or how many responsibilities we might be burdened with, there is still space in our life to play, have fun and explore. We might be pleasantly surprised by what we discover if we let go a little and jump into this new adventure that is now opening for us.
