Judgement calls us to create our future here and now. It is an energy of transformation, purification, and absolution. The past no long exists and the pain and suffering we so long endured burns away as we rise into a new way of being completly free.
Often Judgement is misunderstood by its title. Some get the impression that this card comes up when we are being judged. However, this card is actually showing us how to free ourselves from Judgement and to realize that only through our own condemnation have we suffered. Judgement is the card of absolution that says it is now time to let go and forgive ourselves and others our guilts, shames, regrets, resentments etc. etc. These are things that tie us to our past, and Judgement says it is now time to create our future. These things cannot come with us, and we must first burn away this past before we can move forward.
Judgement is the energy of resurrection. It reminds us that our past does not need to define and limit us when we transform our pain and suffering into experience and wisdom. Judgement says that we can rise from this energy that once held us back and use it to transform into something miraculous. Our pain can become our greatest asset when transmuted in such a way that we learn and grow into our power through pain, rather than choosing to remain stuck in our suffering. Like the Phoenix that rises from its own ashes we can burn and transform from our pain into our power.
Judgement is a call to recognize we are now ready to leave our past and transform into our future. Often this card comes to inform us that a decision needs to be made and that we are ready to now make that decision. Ultimately the decision is that which helps us to rise into our future and to know that we now possess the clarity and power to do so. No longer are we suffering the past and so the decisions we make at this point are guaranteed to move us forward towards the vision we carry for our future.
On another level, Judgement is the energy of Heaven on Earth. It shows us that Heaven is not some mythical place that potentially exists in the afterlife. It is a state of consciousness that is possible to achieve in the here and now while we are still living. Hell is the consciousness of suffering. Heaven is the consciousness of Love. When we we have purified ourselves of all that makes us suffer in our own self created hells and rise into the energy of Love, this is when we can truly experience Heaven on Earth. Judgement is our call to create this Heaven on Earth now. To not wait for death to cleanse ourselves of our perceived sins, but to forgive ourselves and others so that we can experience true Love here and now and to create the future of humanity through this consciousness. Judgement says it is time. We are ready now to rise from the darkness of our suffering and to live in the Light of Love.
